I forgot my username or password

If you’ve forgotten your username and/or password to log into your WordPress site, you’ll need to reset it from the admin login page. You can usually find your login page by accessing your homepage and adding “/wp-admin” to the end of the url, for example: yoursite.com/wp-admin

On this page, you’ll see a link under the login area called “Lost your password?” which you can click to send reset instructions to your email address. Just enter your registered email address in the field and click submit.

The email will contain a link for you to click, which will then ask for a new password. You’ll then be able to return to your login screen immediately and log in with your new password.

I forgot my registered email address

If you’ve forgotten the email address you created your account with, you can contact Backhouse Creative and we’ll look into the issue for you. If we developed your site, we can log in and see what users and email addresses have an account in the back-end. If we didn’t develop your website and don’t have access to the back-end, there are still ways we can log in to set up a new account for you. All you’ll need to provide us with are the login details for your hosting provider and we’ll do the rest!

I can no longer access my email account

If we developed your site, we can log in and create a new user account in the back-end with another email address. If we didn’t develop your website and don’t have access to the back-end, there are still ways we can log in to set up a new account for you. You’ll just need to provide us with the login details for your hosting provider and we’ll do the rest!
